Adam's Pro Tip
Hairline cracks are normal as concrete cures. But watch for cracks wider than 1/4 inch, one side of a crack sitting higher than the other (settlement), or cracks that keep growing. Also look for surface flaking and pitting (spalling) — it means water got in and the freeze-thaw cycle is breaking the slab apart.
